Matej is the CEO of Trigal and a Board Member of the Trigal Fund General Partner. He joined Trigal from PwC. Before PwC, he was a Board Member of the Slovenian Sovereign Holding. In his early career, he worked in the investment boutique Poteza and co-led the restructuring of LHB bank in Frankfurt. He served as a non-executive director and supervisory board member of several large Slovenian companies. He holds a Bachelor‘s degree in Banking from the University of Ljubljana and an MBA from Mainz University.

Before KGAL, he worked for Svenska Finans Deutschland GmbH and Commerzleasing GmbH. Gert has a Master‘s degree in Economics from Bochum University.
Gregory holds an MBA form CERAM – European School of Business, and a BA in Economic Sciences from Lycée Saint-François de Salle.

Primož is responsible for project appraisal, valuation and modelling. He joined Trigal from PwC where he worked as a manager in M&A, responsible for leading due diligence and valuation processes on behalf of strategic and PE investors. Primož also worked for Hypo bank in the sales and risk controlling departments. He holds a Master‘s degree in Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana and has passed all CFA exams.
Mirko is Trigal’s Asset Manager. He joined Trigal from Centrice Real Estate Ljubljana where he worked as an asset manager for office and retail portfolio. He has more than 10 years’ experience in real estate management. Before Centrice Mirko worked at Addiko bank Slovenia, responsible for bank’s real estate portfolio. Mirko holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Ljubljana.
Maja Menard, PhD
Maja is a Principal at the Law Firm FaturMenard. Previously a partner with the Slovenian law firm Ulčar & Partners and an associate with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in France, Maja holds a PhD and a Master’s degree from the University of Paris Ouest and a Law degree from the University of Ljubljana. Her fields of expertise include corporate law, investment funds, competition law, EU law and domestic and international dispute resolution.
Tina has been with Trigal since its establishment, when she assisted Matej in setting up the company and structuring its internal processes. Previously, she worked at the Slovenian Ministry of Finance and at the Slovenian Sovereign Holding as office manager.
Katja Žgur, CFA
Katja is responsible for sales strategies, product development and attracting new investors. Previously, she worked as a Senior Relationship Manager for Large Corporates at banks Nova KBM and Sberbank. Katja holds a Master’s degree in Bank and Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana and spent one semester at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has passed all CFA exams.
